Why I’m adopting a fresh approach to writing

After taking a long hiatus from writing, I am finally back! I had to take a break due to finals and work, but I’m thrilled to be back. During my time away, I had a severe creative block and lacked inspiration. I did not know where to start or what to write about. I felt detached from my past posts and realized that my writing lacked personality. It almost felt robotic. I had been writing to achieve a passing grade, rather than connecting with my readers and building a community centered around learning, art, and health.

I have come to realize that I need to be more vulnerable and expressive to connect with my readers and build a genuine connection. I want to create a space where we can all be our authentic selves and grow together. Moving forward, I will be more honest and real in my writing and hope that we can all be real together to enhance our community.

I care deeply about our culture and community and want to be grounded in it. Rather than writing in a robotic tone, I want to write in my voice and connect with my readers. My writing is not about impressing others or seeking validation but about connecting and building a community that values learning, art, and health.
